In a wonderful singsong lyrical journey, Mabrook shows how different people around the world celebrate their muslim faith in the glorious celebration of matrimony.
With a rich cultural heritage and great religious significance, weddings are fabulous and full of amazing rituals that bring together two individuals in the perfect expression of love and respect.
Na'ima's flowing and glorious descriptions are a delight to read, as the big day approaches - and both bride and groom prepare for the celebration and party surrounding their wedding. We see how the ceremony unfolds in various countries with a strong muslim faith, aided by some truly beautiful illustrations from Shirin Adl.
A very special book, we'd go as far to say that it would make a perfect wedding gift in fact :)
Charlotte's best bit: The groom riding in on a white horse to join his bride before the ceremony - and the henna designs that the bride and her bridesmaids are decorated with before the wedding
Daddy's favourite bit: A glorious celebration of muslim faith and matrimony, beautifully lyrical to read and gorgeously illustrated
