Dino Diggers: Digger Disaster by Rose Impey and Chris Chatterton (Bloomsbury Publishing)

We're not quite finished with diggers and dinosaurs today, here's the first in a series of new 'make and play' books from Bloomsbury, "Dino Diggers: Digger Disaster" by Rose Impey and Chris Chatterton...
Completely coincidentally we ended up with two books in our review pile that mash together dinosaurs and diggers.

"Dino Diggers: Digger Disaster" this time introduces a dinosaur construction crew, headed by Tyrone T. rex - the big chomping boss who drives his own digger (which you can fold out and build with a fantastic cardboard model at the back of the book).

Along with Stan stegosaurs and the rest of the Dino Diggers - the best builders in Dino Town, this happy crew is ready to rock and roll, build, smash, scrape and dig.

Their latest job is to build a new car factory but disaster strikes when Tyrone T. rex hits a water pipe. OH NO! Time for the Dino Diggers to do what they do best! Ready to dino-rumble!

This is the first in a new series for fans of dinosaurs and diggers, with a fantastic free slot-together novelty included in every book.

Collect the whole series for hours of book-and-play-based dino fun.

For fans of Amazing Machines, Dylan's Amazing Dinosaurs and Bob the Builder, it's a mini marvel!

"Dino Diggers: Digger Disaster" by Rose Impey and Chris Chatterton is out now, published by Bloomsbury Children's Books (kindly supplied for review).
