An Animal ABC by Alice Pattullo (Pavilion Children's Books)

An attractive ABC book for learning your letters, but also learning about animals too? Sounds like a great idea...!
Alice Pattullo's "An Animal ABC" is a hugely attractive introduction to the world of animals and letters for your tiniest tiddlers.

Starting with the heavily armoured (and some might say quite cute) Armadillo, and moving right through the alphabet past Okapis, Uakaris and even a Xantus, you can tell this isn't just your ordinary everyday animal book.

Most of the species within are animals that your child won't be familiar with but will absolutely love finding out more about - as the book serves as a great jumping off point to discover more about the animals and their habitats, what they eat and where they live.

Fab stuff, full of polish and brilliant presentation and Alice's illustrations are gorgeous.
