To Dad - You're a Star by Josephine Collins and Jill Latter (Little Tiger Press)

We continue our #ReadItMD13 theme week of celebrating brilliant dads with more ideas for Father's Day book purchases. Here's a snuggly little book that's just right as an extra pressie to sneak in, which of course can be cuddled up with and enjoyed by dads and kids of all ages.

Paying homage to all the things us dads do, it's a sweet and sentimental look at dad life through a child's eyes and the perfect way for your child to say 'thank you' to their awesome dad.

With a lovely presented cover and excellent illustrations, it's a great book for early readers to read out to  their dads just before giving them what dads really want for father's day - a great big hug!

Charlotte's best bit: Dad being there to give awesome shoulder carries (I do still manage to do this but she's getting SO BIG now!)

Daddy's favourite bit: It's a very sweet little book. If you're a big old softie like me it might have you dabbing at your eyes.
