Angry Birds Playground - Fun Things to Make and Do by Nat Lambert (Top That! Publishing)
Last week we dipped into the creative world of Angry Birds, making masks with the fabulous "Angry Birds Playground" mask making book!
If you've still got a recycle bin full of interesting bits and bobs to make things out of, it's time to revisit those temper-tantrum feathered fiends once again for another activity book.
"Fun Things to Make and Do" will keep your tiddly little Angry Birds fanatics even busier than ever, with a selection of fantastic Angry Birds-themed 'makes'. Everything from bird catapults, to cool moneyboxes, to our personal favourite - fuzzy green bad piggies - is here, and there's sure to be a favourite make for everyone.
We had a fantastic time making King Pig's crown, and also making Red's fantastic flying paper aeroplane. The book comes with a ton of traceable templates (so you don't have to hack the book to bits and ruin it). Crack out the greaseproof paper, trace the templates onto card, and you're off and running.
The Angry Birds Playground range from Top That! contains a great selection of books for children of all ages, from activity books like this to story based books, even books about counting. Lure your kids away from the tablet for a while and get their busy little hands working on some great activities as the summer holidays continue.
Charlotte's best bit: Making Red's fantastic plane (with a little help from Daddy).
Daddy's favourite bit: King Pig's Crown is JUST the thing to wear while answering the door!
