A crazy rag-tag chase across an amazing 3D popup town, has anyone seen a monkey...?
This is a wonderfully attractive book that's a madcap caper-chase through the book's incredible three dimensional pop-out pages.
In "That's my Hat" a cheeky monkey steals a young boy's hat, as the boy turns his skills of making geometric patterns and shapes into objects. Constructing his own cityscape, the boy chases the monkey throughout the pages of the book as children try to spot the naughty monkey in his hiding places. Is he tucked away under a rectangle? Squatting behind a square? Running around a Rhomboid? It's a fab book for exploring colours, patterns and shapes in a new and innovative way.
Each page spread pop-out is wonderfully constructed and decorated, but will the boy catch up with that mischievous simian in the end?
You'd better read the book and find out!
"That's my Hat" by Anouck Boisrobert and Louis Rigaud is released on September 14th 2015.
