Nope it's not the story of three reptilian dancers eating Bruce Forsyth, it's the hilarious tale of three crocs who'll do anything to get into Zebra's party....
"Strictly No Crocs" is the debut children's book from Heather Pindar, with fab artwork by Susan Batori spinning the tale of three hungry crocodiles who are sneaky as well as starving.
It's Zebra's birthday and Zebra has sent out invitations to all the animals living in the savannah - but with one notable exception. CROCS ARE NOT ALLOWED but that's not going to stop Cruncher, Chomper and Snapper who come up with a plan so cunning you could brush your crocodile teeth with it.
Each disguises themselves as another animal. Cruncher clads himself in a rather nifty Leopard costume. Chomper is some sort of weird bird-like thing, and snapper's obviously going to create a heck of a buzz as a waspy bee-like thing.
Soon the party is in full swing and the crocodiles can put their evil plan into action - to consume the guests, but they're each having way too much fun (and cake) to polish off Zebra and his animal chums.
So whose birthday is it next? Aha, Giraffe's!
This hilarious tale is fun, fresh and original - and we shout a huge hooray to see a trio of crocodiles as the central characters - Yay for Cruncher, Chomper and Snapper!
Charlotte's favourite bit: The very end of the book - Giraffe has a few rules about his birthday party too :)
Daddy's favourite bit: A fun and original romp with three hilarious croc pals, absolutely certain to wow your little snappers!
