A glorious book about being an individual, but being happy being you - here's Rob Biddulph's awesome "Odd Dog Out"...
Rob Biddulph has blown us away (sorry) with his fantastic children's picture books and now he's got something new up his sleeves.
Out today is "Odd Dog Out", the ticklish tale of a very special sausage dog who doesn't seem to fit in with her peers. All the other dogs seem to be very prim and proper, dressed in their suits and cute little bowler hats. But our dog loves to dress in amazing colours and stand out from the crowd.
It just won't do, and she sets off to find her place in the world, finally finding somewhere where even the odd dog out can truly fit in. But what happens when everyone dresses to impress?
Maybe a dog's heart truly does belong at home, and so the story delivers its delicious message of being content and happy with who you are and how you like to dress. Let the rest of the world fit around you!
Beautifully written and illustrated, another classic in the making from Rob.
"Odd Dog Out" is released today, 25th August 2016, by HarperCollins Children's Books.
