Gruffalo Crumble and Other Recipes, based on "The Gruffalo" stories by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler (Macmillan Children's Books)

Oh now THIS is a genius idea, in fact we're surprised no one had thought of doing this AEONS ago!
Do you find your tummy strangely rumbling as you read through "The Gruffalo" by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler?

Just us then? Well Owl Ice Cream, Scrambled Snake and Roasted Fox might sound a bit...hard to swallow but who could resist "Gruffalo Crumble"

We certainly couldn't, and thankfully a new children's cookbook comes to the rescue with a whole host of hilarious  and very tasty recipes riffing on the well-loved children's story.

There are 24 recipes in total, each perfectly designed to get little ones baking and making. Old favourites like cupcakes and cornflake cakes are given a Gruffalo makeover, while new and tempting ideas for presenting food are also included (the lovely little fox-shaped lunch treats almost look too good to eat!)

"Gruffalo Crumble and Other Recipes" is out now from Macmillan Children's Books (Kindly supplied for review)
