We're kicking off our Booky Advent Calendar for 2016 with a book that shows a lot of cheek - and (almost) quite a few other bits too!
Kes Gray and Garry Parsons' saucepot "Nuddy Ned" is back in "Nuddy Ned's Christmas".
It's Christmas Eve and just as mum and dad are settling down after working hard with all the christmas preparations, there's a clamorous calamity. Their son Ned can't sleep and he's determined to meet Santa.
The only thing is, it's minus 3 outside, the ground is covered in snow and Ned is well known for loving a lot of fresh air getting to his bits.
Never mind, the cold doesn't bother him anyway and out he dashes into the snow in the nip! YIKES!
This hilarious romp is a lift-the-flap giggle a minute as Ned just about manages to keep his rudest bits under wraps thanks to some VERY LUCKY coverage provided by various characters and props in the book.
Will Nuddy Ned meet Father Christmas himself?
Will Ned actually get some presents to cover up his nakedness?
Or will Santa have other ideas!
Brilliant, funny, irreverent and as we've already said very very cheeky but a laugh a minute that your little ones will roar at.
Stick this in your stocking and you're guaranteed a good few giggles!
Charlotte's best bit: A timely Robin appears just at the right moment to hide Ned's embarrassment!
Daddy's favourite bit: Innovative use of lift-the-flaps in a very cheeky book! Love it!
