Meet "Lazy Cat" by Julia Woolf, the hilarious picture book tale of a dog and cat just trying to live together (going against EVERY SINGLE CONVENTION set down in the fine movie "Ghostbusters").
The dog, wonderfully named Doodle, epitomises the phrase "long suffering" and his housemate, the titular puss, is an absolutely terrible friend.
He really is lazy - so lazy in fact that he has Doodle running around after him for every tiny little mishap or excuse.
He eats a lot and when he does bother to share his pizza with Doodle, he gets the lion's share while Doodle makes do with a tiny thin sliver not fit for a mouse.
Poor Doodle, how does he cope with such a horrid housemate? |
Ugh, move over you big whiskery slob! |
