We love books that make clever use of rhyme. You remember those fantastic nursery rhymes that slowly build by repetition to a fabulous climax, like "There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" or "Old Macdonald Had a Farm" - and I'm pretty sure nearly everyone reading this would be able to belt out a spirit version of those.
"Emma Jane's Aeroplane" builds in the same way as our plucky heroine embarks on a night time flight around the world.
She first stops off to pick up a waggle-tailed Fox who fancies a flight, cruising over London but not liking the rain much.
On from London we then visit Paris - and a rooster who can crow with the best of them, ready to take to the skies.

So good they named it twice! New York, baby! |
A beautiful book travelling the world and fab for younger kids who will love the excitement and adventure (and the animals of course), and will also love joining in with the fun rhymes.
Charlotte's best bit: New York, of course (she really wants to go there!)
Daddy's favourite bit: A fun and imaginative story with a plucky little hero. Brilliant!
