"One House for All" starts out with the simple premise of featuring three friends who really like each other. Their friendship is so strong that Horse, Crayfish and Raven all decide to set up a fantastic home for themselves and all their wives and children.
As you'd imagine, it's not easy trying to build a house to suit all tastes, so each of the three busily sketches their ideal home in the sand, talking about all the things they'll need to make it the perfect home.
But can three friends truly remain friends when their needs and opinions are so vastly different? Or will there be tears before bedtime?
We absolutely loved this story, again another example of stunning originality fused with brilliant artwork to convey this simple but very necessary message...
Designing the perfect house for three very different friends? It's not as easy as you'd think! |
Charlotte's best bit: Fussy Crayfish and his peculiar needs.
Daddy's favourite bit: It's an amazing looking book with a fantastically original story and a good solid moral heart. Utterly lovely in fact.
"One House for All" by Inese Zandere and Juris Petraskevics is out now, published by Book Island (kindly supplied for review).
