Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book" is given a new lease of life for a whole new audience in this latest "Search and Find: The Jungle Book" title.
That's largely due both to the tried and tested 'search and find' format, again immersing the reader in Kipling's amazing jungle world - but definitely because of Federica Frenna's amazing artwork, fleshing out all your favourite characters like Mowgi, Baloo, Bagheera and of course the terrifying Shere Khan in such an awesome and delightful way.
The popular adventure is retold in beautifully illustrated search and find scenes where you can find the characters on the busy pages, and follow them through the story.
Each page is full of characters to find and details to spot in the busy scenes, such as Mowgli learning the laws of the jungle, the monkeys in the temple, Baloo and Bagheera meeting Kaa. and the defeat of Shere Khan.
Beautiful illustrations are accompanied by abridged text, perfect for sharing with young readers, and introducing them to Rudyard Kipling's classic story.

Mowgli's early wolf-life amongst his 'family' pack beautifully portrayed here. |
Federica's art really is absolutely amazing (sorry to keep going on about it) so we'll be keeping a very close eye on her work in future (really, really need to see if she's got any other children's books out there).
"Search and Find: The Jungle Book" by Rudyard Kipling and Federica Frenna is out now, published by Studio Press (kindly supplied for review).
