It's amazing what kids get into these days. LOL Dolls, Roblox, Quantum Physics...
Despite its rather ostentatious (and for some, pretty scary) title, "My First Book of Quantum Physics" by Seddad Kaid-Salah Ferron and Eduard Altarriba is actually a really fantastic early years science book and a crackingly good romp through the history of theoretical and practical physics.
Introducing amazing scientists like Planck and Einstein, Schrodinger and Bohr and showing some really nifty little graphics and illustrations to demonstrate their theories, the book will appeal to a wide range of ages - even the very young will definitely find loads to trigger their imagination and curiosity in equal measure.
Since C was tiny we've always given her plenty of opportunity to find out more about science, and we regularly take her to saturday science clubs in our locale.
This book builds on the practical with a ton of really awesome theoretical and descriptive information on practical science and will definitely serve as a superb conversation point for many years to come.
Very impressed with this one.
C's best bit: Learning all about Shrodinger's theory and cats in boxes!
Daddy's favourite bit: Some really awesome stuff about atomic structures and the theories surrounding the creation of our universe. Superb stuff!
