Aha, now here's a crafting book we can really get behind! Faster than a speeding bullet, it's a superb Book of the Week from the Little Button Diaries folk!
"The Superhero Craft Book" by Laura Minter and Tia Williams contains a whopping selection of FIFTEEN fantastic makes to turn your littlies into super-powered champions of truth, justice and the crafting way!
We've really loved all the "Little Button Diaries" make books over the years, and it's always worth visiting their website for new ideas.

Back to the book though, and we love anything that celebrates comic-book and movie superheroes, and there's something for just about everyone in this book.
From cool superhero masks (reversible just in case someone gives away your secret identity) to sturdy shields, from awesome superhero spoon puppets to jetpacks (YES!!!) and capes, story stones and a truly awesome Superhero "POW" cake (which has to be seen to be believed), this book provides everything you need to make a superhero-themed Birthday Party really pop.
With National Superhero Day coming up fast, it's definitely one to pick up (and it'll also come in very handy for next year's World Book Day - as superhero costumes are always really popular for those).
All the makes are fantastic, really simple, most use stuff you can source around the house and we think this is Laura and Tia's best book yet.
C's favourite make: Super wrist protectors and a fabulous mask to hide her secret book-blogging super-identity.
Daddy's favourite make: That truly awesome POW cake! I gotta have one for my next birthday!
"The Superhero Craft Book" by Laura Minter and Tia Williams is out now, published by GMC Publishing (kindly supplied for review).
