Stickyscapes at the Museum
This week's second "Book of the Week asks: "What if you could perform a minor miracle, and cram the museum of your dreams between the covers of a gorgeous book?"No need to try and do this trick yourself, as Laura Junger has come up with a truly incredible book to help you wile away the long summer holidays.
"Stickyscapes at the Museum" is a sticker book with a difference.
Not only do you get over 100 stickers covering a ton of innovative art, amazing installations and cool objects but you get a book that really does bring museum spaces to life in such a dizzyingly astonishing way.
Museums are definitely high on our list of desirable places to visit in the summer (particularly at the moment, as they're usually cool and air-conditioned!)
But this book really does bring amazing spaces to life in a gloriously illustrated book that has wowed us every time we've opened the covers.
Spot all the tiny and glorious little details in each page spread (and find the missing artefacts!) |
The illustrations in this are jaw-droppingly great as is the level of detail to rival any museum's collection! |
One amazing book this! Get sticky with stickers! |
If your kids are echoing the well worn "We're bored, we've got nothing to do" this book is an essential purchase. Fun, gorgeous, innovative and highly recommended.
"Stickyscapes at the Musem" by Laura Junger is out now, published by Laurence King Publishing (kindly supplied for review).
