The sun is out, the sky is blue, there's not a cloud to spoil the view so what better time to break our "Christmas Reviews 2015" duck with a fabulous paper-making activity book from a legend in crafting!

Love us or hate us, Christmas is only 141 days away to be exact or 12,113,234 seconds. Not long really is it? Get into the yuletide spirit even though you're sitting there sweating your cobs off by taking a look at this new book from Ivy Press and the fabulous Lydia Crook.

Lydia is a paper-folding legend, a master of producing really effective and easy to make papercraft goodies and so if you want to steal a march on a bit of christmas preparation, dive into this gorgeous book right now!

As the cover says, play, make, decorate - and who needs an excuse to break out the paper, glitter glue and colouring pens to come up with dazzling designs.

Make your own awesome crown and crown yourselves champion paper-makers!!
Lydia's illustrations guide you through the making process, and if you don't want to damage this lovely book you can trace your designs onto paper or card before beginning your mammoth makes.

There must be an angel paper-making with my heart!
We enjoyed making paper chains the most (so easy once you know how) and the beauty of this book is that you don't need a ton of different art materials or bits and bobs, you can start with just the simplest designs and a few scraps of paper to get under way.
