"Hamish and the Baby Boom" is the fourth outing for Danny Wallace and Jamie Littler with their superbly funny middle grade series featuring Hamish and his gang the PDF.
Hamish and the PDF have been left in charge of Starkley while his dad and the rest of the Belasko agents are off hunting down the universe's second-most dangerous villain - Axel Scarmarsh!
But nothing bad will happen while Dad's away, right? WRONG!
Suddenly the babies of Starkley are on the rampage and causing chaos - but only Hamish and his friends seem to be worried about the odd behaviour.
It's time for a plan - but just how do you defeat a horde of dribbling, squealing and slightly poopy babies?
Worse still, when Hamish and the PDF find out what’s behind the baby uprising, they realise Starkley isn't the only place affected. The entire world is at stake! It's a pickle and a half, to be sure!

Once again Danny's pitch-perfect comic timing and ruthlessly observational humour is wielded with precision, underpinned by Jamie's awesome illustrations. Without spoiling too much, this is an absolute riot of a book that establishes the "Hamish" series as one of the funniest celeb-penned middle grade series we've had the pleasure of reading.
