Those knicker-stealing aliens are back, hooray! Claire Freedman and Ben Cort's indomitable book series has an all-new entry.

After a cataclysmic lightning storm knocks the aliens out of orbit, they find themselves trapped in the midst of the Amazonian rain forest. Weirdly, their patented pants-detecting devices pick up a strong signal nearby, sending those fun-loving aliens into a complete frenzy. There be pants here, there be!

They track down the source of the signal to something remarkable, a jungle stockade containing a pile of perfect and rather colossal bloomers!

Those aliens can't resist pinching a pair but trouble follows close behind, those pants belong to huge hulking dinosaurs who don't take very kindly to pants-napping extra-terrestrials!

Though the dinosaurs are initially a bit peeved, they also have a tale of woe. They did not die out aeons ago as everyone thought, but were forced to live in exile by encroaching humans.

The aliens have a fantastic idea though - and so a new alliance is formed, and the Dinosaurs find a whole new home on the alien pant-planet.

Now, more than ever before, the world's pants are in even more danger of being snatched now aliens and dinosaurs are working together!

It's very easy to see why the "Pants" series is so popular. Brilliant rib-tickling rhyming stories appeal to youngsters, as do the fabulous and colourful illustrations (and, what do you know, pants are just hilariously funny no matter how you look at them - particularly when dinos and aliens are parading around in them).

It's an enduring series and we're so happy to see a new book, and we're pretty sure you're going to love it too! Crack out your best book-reading undergarments and dig in (before those aliens turn up with their new dino pals and make off with your smalls drawer!)
