ReadItDaddy's Second Book of the Week - Week Ending 4th November 2016 - "Migloo's Weekend" by William Bee (Walker Books)

Our Second Book of the Week will test your peepers to the very max! William Bee's awesome "Migloo's Weekend"...
William Bee's books are always a visual treat. He's cut from the most exquisite cloth is Mr Bee, and loves crazy characters, crazy vehicles and completely chaotic situations as much as we do.

Observational puzzle books are also a huge amount of fun so we couldn't wait to dive into "Migloo's Weekend" - featuring a fabulous little dog and a huge, huge cast of supporting characters (including William himself if you look carefully) all joining in for tons of fun.

Hugely detailed illustrations and loads of fabulous little in-jokes are the order of the day here. If you love books like "Where's Wally" then you'll instantly know what to expect, but we actually preferred Migloo and it's great to know that there's also "Migloo's Day" if you love the idea of this book as much as we did and can't wait for more.

Charming, brilliantly illustrated, a total win for us!

Charlotte's favourite bit: Spotting William Bee himself, usually quite easy as he's quite the dapper chap!

Daddy's favourite bit: So much fun, and tons of observational puzzling. Huge fan of William's art and he really pulls out all the stops for this book!
