This is a "Make" book like no other. 25 of the world's top designers have collaborated with curator Thomas Barnthalter for something really special...Kids are naturally ambitious. We have found this many times when C has dug out all our crafting materials with a singular project in mind - and more often than not has seen that project through to the end despite our misgivings.
So imagine what it would be like to find a book crammed with some truly ambitious 'makes' (plus a few that should at least be fairly easy to achieve).
"Now Make This" by Thomas Barnthalter is like a fabulous Ikea catalogue of crazy ideas that you can make mostly from stuff you've got lying around the house (well, apart from the "Loo Roll Room Divider" - For some reason we couldn't rustle up 200 rolls of loo paper!!)
Other projects are definitely manageable with the minimum spend. We really loved the idea of the "Bucket Drum Kit"...
Rock out with your mop out! |
A pretty cool idea for your tiniest treasures. A Jar in a Jar |
Got a ton of old cardboard boxes left over from moving house? Put them to stunning use as a playhouse! |
Get your best making shoes on and have a go! You never know what you'll come up with!
"Now Make This" by Thomas Barnthalter is out now, published by Phaidon (kindly supplied for review).
