Oh it's a tough life when there's a new arrival on the scene, and you've been used to getting your own way in your own house for pretty much forever...
In "I am the Boss of this Chair" by Carolyn Crimi and Marisa Morea, meet a cat called Oswald Minklehoff Honey Bunny III Who has life pretty much exactly the way he likes it.

The chair (his, of course) is comfortable and perfect for lounging on. Food is available on demand, and the back door cat flap is maintained with sentry-like efficiency to ensure no evildoers can get in.

Then Pom Pom the kitten comes along and suddenly Oswald isnt the boss of everything any more. In fact Pom Pom takes dire liberties with all the things that Oswald loves best, including his fantastic comfortable chair.

Will Oswald realize that life is more fun when you have a friend - and that, really, theres plenty of room on the chair to share? 

We love cat tales, and we love the core message that's perfect for older siblings struggling with a new arrival at home. It's definitely far more fun to join together, have fun and share!
