Gosh, here's a series that takes us back almost ten years to when we first started exploring books for the first time together...C and I used to dig all of the "That's Not My" books from the local library. They were all very well loved (some were only held together by a combination of baby-spit and dried rusks) and the series is just as popular today as it has been for the last decade and beyond.
The latest title is "That's Not My Bee" by Fiona Watt and Rachel Wells. Usborne clearly wants to ensure that we don't forget our fuzzy buzzy friends this summer, as bee colonies are in decline and that's something we definitely need to think about and address, even from a really early age.
You'll be familiar with the format by now, awesome little board books with touchy-feely textured surfaces with different finishes that help you explore all the characteristics of these fascinating insects.
Was fun digging back through one of these and this is a great example of an enduring book series that really captures the imagination and the eye of little ones starting their book journeys.
"That's not my Bee" by Fiona Watt and Rachel Wells is out now, published by Usborne Books (kindly supplied for review).
