"How To Become a Knight in 10 Easy lessons" by Todd Tarpley and Jenn Harney (Sterling Children's Books)

I think there are two types of books that have become an impossibly 'hard sell' to C when it comes to drawing up a review...
She really has had enough of books about pirates, but equally she's somewhat jaded about "Knight" books too.

Luckily "How to Become a Knight In Ten Easy Lessons" by Todd Tarpley and Jenn Harney managed to win her over with a fab combination of a hilarious story and some truly brilliant art from our Twitter fave Jenn Harney (go follow her as she does some AMAZING art for some of the Twitter art challenges and colour collectives every week).

Meet Sam, a diminutive little sprog who really wants to become a fearless knight.

The only problem is, the 'expert' who is trying to help him realise his dream is more of a hindrance than a help.

Sir Simpleton insists his advice is best, of course!

Sir Simpleton stretches the definition of "Brave Fearless Knight" here!
Luckily Sam gets plenty of real help from his friends, and is soon well on the way to becoming the kingdom's bravest (and tiniest) knight. Bless his little iron socks!

Never shy about taking credit, silly ol' Sir Simpleton!
Full of charm, warm humour and character, this is brilliant for your Knight-obsessed littlies.

"How To Become a Knight in ten easy lessons" by Todd Tarpley and Jenn Harney is out now, published by Sterling Children's Books (kindly supplied for review).
