"Storm" by Sam Usher (Templar Publishing)

Sam Usher's brilliant seasons series of books continue with our most favourite season of all...
There's just something about Autumn that really makes us feel wonderful. Not just the gentle falling of the multicoloured leaves that we can kick up, but the weather cooling down after a baking hot summer - and the glorious sound and touch of rain as it patters on the roof.

"Storm" by Sam Usher is more than just a tiny drizzle though.

It's blowing up a storm, and a boy and his grandad decide it's the perfect weather for kite-flying.

There's just one problem - first they have to find the kite.

Their search brings up lots of wonderful memories of previous adventures together, but when they finally make it outside, their adventure really takes off!

The book is a delightful celebration, not just of the season and the weather but of the relationship between a grandparent and their grandchild - heading off for an adventure and doing something they both really love (and if you've yet to discover the absolute joy of kite-flying, perhaps this book will inspire you to give it a try yourself).

Wonderful stuff once again from Sam.

"Storm" by Sam Usher is out now, published by Templar (kindly supplied for review).
