Three awesome new books for your busy little ones from awesome Child's Play Publishing

Here's another tempting trio of fantastic books from one of our favourite early years publishers so let's dive straight into our book bag and take a look.

Starting with "Keith Among the Pigeons" by Katie Brosnan, a brilliant little story about a very special cat.

Keith doesn't like chasing pigeons, he'd much rather just watch them all day, and desperately dreams of what it would be like to actually BE one of them and join them high up in their favourite tree.

The other cats think Keith is a bit weird, but Keith is happy - and sometimes being happy with who you are is the most important thing of all.

We love the simple story and gorgeous painterly illustrations in this one, plus cat books are always a complete win with us.

A lovely moggy tale with a gentle moral tucked into the folds, "Keith Among the Pigeons" by Katie Brosnan is out now, published by Child's Play. 

If cats aren't really your thing, and you prefer stories about adorable dogs, meet "Milo and Monty" by Roxana De Rond.

Milo and Monty are best friends, but are very different dogs indeed. 

Monty enjoys hugs and noisy playtimes, but Milo prefers to avoid people and hide in a cosy, quiet space. 

One day, during a family reunion, Milo finds cousin Henry is hiding in his special space. 

Like Milo, Henry finds hugs uncomfortable, dislikes loud noises, and has a favourite toy that he takes everywhere. 

Another superb little book with a simple but effective message this one, staving off the cold days by making us wish for long hot lazy summers days going out for walks with a favourite pooch. 

A heartwarming story about family and the small changes we can make to accommodate the needs of others.

"Milo and Monty" by Roxana De Rond is out now, published by Child's Play. 

Last but not least, it's the noise and the bombastic spectacle of the big top in "Circus Girl" by Jana Novotny Hunter and Joaquin Camp. 

Sky is one very lucky little girl. She lives, plays and learns in a circus and when she's not performing, she even dreams about what she's going to do next in her fabulous circus act! 

In this superb new picture book, the excitement of the circus influences every aspect of Sky's life, but will she realise that there may be more to life than just the excitement and adventure within the circus ring?
