It's the party season and a feast must be prepared. But what happens when a tiny mole discovers that the cupboards are bare, the very last rich tea biscuit has been scoffed, and in fact the guests are going to have very loud rumbly tummies?
It's time to go foraging, but as a journey into the deep dark forest begins, the small brave band of Bear, Rabbit and Mouse realise they're being followed! EEK!
What lurks in the shadows, dogging their every step?
You know what we're going to say, you'll have to read "Mole's Harvest Moon" to find out. A fantastic little book that surprises at every turn of the page, and builds up a nice little head of tension before the big reveal.
Judi Abbott's effortless mix of a great bounce-along story with stylish and modern illustrations charms and delights, and the animal characters aren't your usual cliched bunch of fuzzy furries either.
Charlotte's best bit: Brave little rabbit!
Daddy's favourite bit: Love the way you can read this and really ramp up the excitement and tension till the big finale.
