Bears Make the Best Reading Buddies by Carmen Oliver and Jean Claude (Capstone / Curious Fox Books)

Reading for pleasure is always FAR more fun when you've got a buddy in tow? Who makes the best reading buddy?...
One little girl comes up with a novel solution when she can't find a reading buddy at school. In "Bears Make the Best Reading Buddies" young Adelaide zips along to class with a rather alarming friend in tow. Her fellow pupils aren't too sure, her teachers are squealing but Adelaide knows best. Bear is harmless really, great for cuddles but best of all he absolutely LOVES books.

Bear joins in and soon everyone realises that having a great big hulking bear around isn't so bad after all.

A book that joyously celebrates reading, friendships and with some rather hilarious digs at dafty adults, "Bears Make the Best Reading Buddies" is definitely an eye-catching and fun story to share with your tinies.

Charlotte's favourite bit: Teacher's initial reaction to seeing a gigantic bear ambling amiably into class. EEEEEEEEKS!

Daddy's favourite bit: A fun and celebratory story about the joy of reading and the joy of sharing books with your best friends.
