Booky Advent Calendar Day 21: "Katie's London Christmas" by James Mayhew (Orchard Books)

For Day 21 on our Advent Calendar, a magical trip to one of our favourite festive destinations...!
We absolutely adore the "Katie" books and James Mayhew pulled out all the stops with his special Christmas story, a whirlwind adventure for Katie and her cousin Jack in "Katie's London Christmas".

Katie and Jack are startled by a loud...

"ATCHOO!"

When they go to investigate, they find that poor Father Christmas has a rotten cold, and could really do with a couple of helping hands to ensure everyone gets their Christmas Pressies well in time for the big morning.

So it's a hop, skip and a jump into Santa's sleigh, for a trip across the London rooftops, taking in the landmarks as they go and - with a little festive magic - squeezing down the chimneys to deliver lovely christmas gifts.
