Swish and Squeak's Noisy Day by Birgitta Sif (Andersen Children's Books)

Shhh! Can you hear something? Listen, it's the sound of a rather delectable children's book...
Meet Swish and Squeak, the tiny cute mice stars of Birgitta Sif's latest children's book. In "Swish and Squeak's Noisy Day" Swish wakes up to dozens of different sounds as the house comes to life. Most of them made by her adorable little sibling Squeak, who might be tiny but can stomp down the stairs just like an elephant (yes, we know all about this don't we Charlotte - for someone so dainty, she can stomp around the house in the same way too!)

Swish and Squeak spend the day together listening out for all the different sounds in the world around them.

We loved the bit where they go into the library (which is usually quiet - well, until Squeak arrives at least! SHHHHHHH!)

As they wind down at the end of the day, snuggled up in bed, there's still one little squeaker making a lot of noise. Who knew mice could snore so loudly?

"Swish and Squeak's Noisy Day" by Birgitta Sif is out now, published by Andersen Children's Books (kindly supplied for review).
