William Bee's Wonderful World of Tractors and Farm Machinery
Welcome to another vehicle-packed volume for tinies, and a fabulous world of powerful machines waiting to do their work...We really love the William Bee books and in the latest volume, William is off to the farm to explore some real heavyweights capable of pulling immense loads, performing complex tasks around the farm with ease, and dazzling us with their sheer power.
"William Bee's Wonderful World of Tractors and Farm Machines" is another whimsical dive into William's amazing vehicle collection.
You'll learn all about tractors of course, but also learn all about other amazing machines that can help farmers to work more efficiently and easily.
Huge combine harvesters can drive through a crop of wheat and collect those vital grains, ready to turn into our crunchy cereal (we loved William's range of healthy cereals - why don't they sell these at Waitrose?!)
There are machines for spreading fertiliser (poo!) Huge machines that can harvest potatoes, delicately dropping them off in a truck to rush to markets and supermarkets all around the country.
It's bloomin' taters out there. Thankfully William has some helpers to help him harvest those lovely spuds |
There are gigantic tractors with caterpillar tracks (laughed out loud at the idea of William not wanting to demonstrate that one, as it was brand new and he didn't want to get it muddy!)
Ooh, that'd be handy for the morning commute. No one would dare cut you up! |
Every page is chock full of detail, fun little supporting characters and of course William himself, a happy little chap who just can't wait to show us his favourite machines.
A brill little book for vehicle fans. Highly recommended.
Going old-skool. The first tractors were these gigantic steam-powered beasts. |
C's best bit: William Bee's amazing Range Rover (yes, she's a bit of a nut for Land Rovers and Range Rovers)
Daddy's favourite bit: Another winner from William, the perfect book for kids of all ages who love big powerful machines.
"William Bee's Wonderful World of Tractors and Farm Machines" by William Bee is out now, published by Pavilion Children's Books (kindly supplied for review).
