Midnight at the Zoo by Faye Hanson (Templar Publishing)

We've been dying to see more from super-talented Faye Hanson since we first read "The Wonder" - Here's another wonderful book from Faye!
"Midnight at the Zoo" from awesome Faye Hanson is a fabulous feast for the eyes but also a perfect bedtime story as we take a trip to the zoo and join Max and Mia on a very special school trip.

At first, things are a bit boring. You know how it is when you race off to a zoo or safari park and find empty cage after empty cage, or most of the animals enjoying a peaceful midday snooze.

But what happens after hours? If you're like us you've always dreamed of being locked in a zoo or a museum after hours, to see what happens as night draws in and all the animals slowly wake up and begin their nocturnal activities.

There's so much to see in this utterly gorgeous book, with beautiful contrasts between Faye's trademark bright and vibrant colourful artwork, and the darker hues of night-time at the zoo.

Even Max and Mia will be sleepy-eyed and ready to snuggle into bed after this delightful little story.

"Midnight at the Zoo" was released on 14th July 2016 from Templar Publishing. Don't miss it!
