We love books about robots, there aren't really enough of them out there so we're always delighted when we find a good one..."Goodnight Little Bot" by Karen Kaufman Orloff and Kim Smith is DEFINITELY a good one, an enjoyable little rhyming story perfect for those moments when your little one is fighting sleep, but needs to settle down at the end of a busy day.
Just like Little Bot in fact, because even little robots need to recharge at the end of a busy day.
Mum is ready with a bedtime story, so slip into your robot pyjamas and enjoy the gentle rhymes from Karen, and of course Kim Smith's utterly superb artwork (If we had our way, Kim Smith would illustrate EVERYTHING, we just can't get enough of her work!)
It's colourful, dreamy and guaranteed to soothe even the most busy and fizzy little mechanoids!
C's favourite bit: YAY! Robots! And Kim Smith! It's a fantastic combination!
Daddy's favourite bit: Lovely to read aloud, the rhymes flow perfectly and we just can't get enough of Kim's art. Beautiful!
"Goodnight Little Bot" by Karen Kaufman Orloff and Kim Smith is out now, published by Sterling (kindly supplied for review).
