A fabulous reprint of two children's classics, with amazing illustrations from Robert Ingpen. Here's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "The Jungle Book" (Palazzo Abridged Classics)

The Palazzo range of children's classics sees a couple of brilliant reprints, featuring the glorious artwork of Australian artist Robert Ingpen...
Kicking off with a story we have loved many times in various forms, the abridged classic version of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" comes to live with a stunning selection of illustrations perfectly capturing the most amazing scenes in the book by Lewis Carroll.

Alice embarks on a grand adventure through a mysterious land full of quirky and odd creatures, pursuing the elusive White Rabbit but falling foul of the wicked Queen of Hearts.

There's always time for tea though, joining the Mad Hatter and the March Hare for a quick cuppa (and perhaps a nice crunchy dormouse).

It's a fantastic version of the story, in a new cloth-bound hard back cover with a fab illustration of Alice by Robert Ingpen.

"Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" is out now, published by Palazzo.

Sticking with children's classic stories for the second title, here's Rudyard Kipling's timeless "The Jungle Book" - again with amazing illustrations from Robert.

The tale of Mowgli the Man Cub. Raised by wolves, Mowgli's life is in danger as the man-eating tiger Shere Khan decides that the jungle-dwelling boy is far too dangerous to live, and must be destroyed.

Mowgli flees his jungle home and leaves his wolf pack behind, but meets up with friend and foe on his trek through the jungle.

Again, with stunning illustrations from Robert Ingpen really bringing this story to life, it's a perfect keepsake for kids who might only know the Disney versions of these stories, and want to read a really beautifully produced abridged version of the classic tale.

"The Jungle Book" by Rudyard Kipling, illustrated by Robert Ingpen is out now, published by Palazzo.
